GUJARAT, INDIA
Gujarat is 6th largest state of India on the western coast . It is famous as it is the birth place of our Father of Nation, Mahatama Gandhi . It is also famous for wildlife sanctuaries, temples, handcrafts, festivals, beaches, deserts and culture.
Places to be visited in Gujarat are:
1:-KUTCH:-
Kutch is a district of Gujarat which comes under the area of Thar desert and it is famous for Rann of Kutch which is a vast and adorable white salt desert. Best time to visit ran of Kutch is after October when winter starts. During the month of December to January kutch mahotsav is conducted where they present their folk song , dance, handcrafts .
2:-GIR NATAIONAL PARK:-
This park is situated 65 km south east of Junagarh district ,Gujarat . This park is famous for the Asiatic Lion and other aniamls tha can be found moving freely there are Leopard, chausingha , spotted dear, hyena, chinkara etc .
3:-SOMNATH:-
Somnath Temple is situated on the western coast of Gujarat. It is a pilgrimage place devoted to lord shiva. It is a great attraction for the tourist because of monuments, temples, shrines and history. Some famous temples are Ahilya temple, Bhalka temple, Triveni Temple etc and one should also visit Prabas Patan Museum.
4:-STATUE OF UNITY:-
Statue of Unity is world’s tallest statue .It is the statue of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who is also known as iron man India, he was a great leader and freedom fighter and had played vital role in constructing the constitution of India.
The statue is 182 meter high and it is example of unique architecture and engineering
